The glare of the eyes and seriousness of expression shows that this is a feisty female, proud of her topless pose and tattoos, aware of her femininity but not someone to cower to authority. A foxy lady making a provocative pose with her stare of malice. Bare breasts jut proudly as the light catches her silver nipple bar and reflections catch the black leather trousers. It was important to have the shadow on the neck point to the focal point of the pierced nipple.  The dramatic contrast of the pale flesh against the black leather trousers adds interest, as do the reflections of light in the leather compared to the shadows on the skin.  Lost and found edges give the illusion of 3D and of the figure being firmly set in the painting. Her foot in the foreground is out of focus, so that the eyes focus on the focal point of her breasts.  Her energy and life-force are vivid and passionate.  The triangular paleness of her foot contrasts with the black leather at her crotch and underlines her femininity.
