One angel rides astride a unicorn through the heavens, as the butterflies fly alongside. The other holds a crystal aloft, as the light radiates from it, and as she flies through the air the jewels fall behind her. Hidden in the sky are the images of animals and the happy faces of souls amongst the clouds. The basis of this fantasy painting was the pour on effect, which meant a lot of masking fluid to protect the jewels, butterflies, angels and unicorn. The poured on background also helped to create a feeling of connection between the main subjects before the details were added.
