A rider leads the horses into the sea, splashing in the shallows as the romantic sunset fades to fiery oranges and bruised purples. The use of masking fluid was carefully applied for the sunlight glinting on the water and the splattered paint is ideal for the droplets of water and feeling of movement around the legs of the horses. The lost edges of the sea and sky give a feeling of depth to the distant horizon.
