The basis of the painting is the pour-on technique which creates a uniformity of the subject in its setting. The magical white horse rears up in a field of daisies and sunflowers.  Pearlised paint picks up the iridescent high-lights on the flank and gold watercolour paint dusts the mane and tail as the fantasy horse rises up on hind legs.  Hidden in the foliage you can almost make out other horse shapes. A mystical horse in a fantasy setting surrounded by the image of life and colour.
