Everything that sums up a cat is here – the steady gaze, the glittering eye, and the flick of the ears. Not every spot needs to be painted on a leopard, so the pour-on paint technique was used to make the background, with splattered paint used to portray spots and movement, especially around the ears and whiskers. Detail of spots was added to the face and one paw to give the form of the animal.
