A tiger’s head painted with the basis of the poured on paint technique. Cool regard, almost of distain. It was nice to paint a picture of almost one colour – burnt sienna – with patches of white and black displaying the tigers features with just a hint of blue in the painting to take away the starkness of the white. Paint was splattered to create the feeling of movement and life. The hard edges caused whilst the paint dried has caused some interesting effects adding to the illusion of fur.
